Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Rafael and I am a former software developer turned into a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer.
My interest in the field began a couple of years ago but it wasn’t until last february (2019) that I immerse myself in it. I took part in a three month bootcamp at neuefische GmbH in Hamburg. The philosophy of the academy is to learn by doing. So we spent the last month working on our own personal project of our choice. Since I had worked with image in the past, I decided to create a Facial Emotion Recognition app.
I created this blog to write about my progress during the last month of the boot camp. I want to write my thoughts, problems, ideas, etc. To keep a record of my work.
